5 Must Have Products To Soothe Your Sick Baby Naturally

There is nothing worse as a parent then seeing your little baby coming down with a cold or worse the flu. There little bodies become hot, their noses drip and your previously smiling bundle of joy is now miserable. Whether it be their 1st or 5th cold it’s never easy. There is not much more advice from medical professionals other then to “let them ride it out” and “make sure they get plenty of fluids and rest” so it’s easy to feel helpless.
After my babies first cold I scoured pharmacies searching for products that were age appropriate and effective. I was left feeling extremely disappointed as all there was to offer was liquid vitamins and minerals. I then turned to the internet & health food stores and after much trial and error, I put together the perfect baby cold and flu kit that I have on hand at home ready to use for whenever my little bubba gets sick. I have listed my favourite products first but these are all amazing and I believe they all work together in helping relieve my little ones cold and flu symptoms as well as speeding up her recovery.

Product 1. Brauer Baby Saline Nasal Spray and Aspirator.

I honestly do not know what I would do without this product and that is why it is number one! When you babies nose is blocked and their struggling to breathe, especially if they have a dummy or are to little to know how to breathe through their mouths yet. This product instantly clears there nose with literally just salt and water. The design of the product sits perfectly outside your babies nose and when you pull down it sprays a fine mist into the nostril, loosening up the mucous. The loose mucous can then be sucked out with the aspirator or if your babies like mine the spray makes them sneeze and dislodge the mucous on their own.

Product 2. Winter Rescue Remedy Essential Oil (3 months+)
I frequently use of essential oils on myself when I’m sick. I find that they unblock my nose and take the edge off that dry irritating cough that can keep you awake all night. I highly recommend this essential oil blend for your little ones as it is 100% organic and pure. The blend is also gentle as it contains mild essential oils Peppermint, Eucalyptus & Lavender traditionally used in herbal medicine to relieve coughs and the symptoms of colds as well as a support a restful nights sleep. I personally find that my baby falls asleep much quicker than usual when I have this oil blend on.
